A beautiful warm day in Brisbane, QLD.Paige, Lucy and Myself are walking from the backpackers to the Botanic Gardens.
We are full of anticipations and high hopes!

Having a rest. and some hydration. not sure if the red bull and jaegermeister counts though?
Notice my new found hat.. very handy in the Queensland rays.
Also note the beach ball is long gone. we released it to the masses at Riverstage and it met back up with us again at 2 of the other stages.
At the end of the day we retired to our loverly airconditioned backpackers room to find our alcohol had been confiscated? apperently it is not allowed in rooms ? first i've ever heard of this rule at a backpackers.
After much discussions with staff we were defeated. But not dissappointed entirely for we had plans to hit the town! Two of the girls we were staying with got sick and worn out so just Paige and myself headed into the Valley in Brisbane.
We went to a few clubs but by fair the funnest was 'The Beat'. If ur ever in Brissy check it out if ur into something a bit different. The people were all super fun and so open and eccentric. It was like being in a different world. Great music too !
Overall the weekend was a success...quite an expensive one tho..
